More than one thousand jackets were collected as part of the "No Child Without a Jacket" campaign for the needy, collected by a Limassol primary school.
The campaign, organized by the Parents' Association of the Kyklo B Primary School of St. George in Chavouza, Limassol, has been successfully concluded. More than a thousand jackets were gathered and delivered to vulnerable groups and families across Cyprus, in collaboration with the Red Cross.
According to a statement, the campaign, titled "Donate Your Jacket, Give Warmth," ran from November 25 to December 10, with the support of the "Alkinoos Artemiou" Foundation and its own initiative in Nicosia, "No Child Without a Jacket."
"Thanks to the heartfelt response from the public, we managed to collect over 1,000 jackets and distribute them to our fellow citizens truly in need," the statement added.
The PTA expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the campaign and assured the public that it would continue its charitable efforts.
