The first four volumes of the “Cyprus File” which contain testimonies of those directly or indirectly involved in the tragic events of 1974 in Cyprus have been released.
The publication will be available for the public, historians, researchers in print and electronic format.
A press release by the House of Representatives this afternoon said the publication is the last phase in a long course that began soon after the events of 1974 and includes the findings of a Greek parliamentary enquiry into the 1974 coup d’etat in Cyprus and the Turkish invasion that followed.
Earlier Tuesday, CNA reported that the four volumes of the "Cyprus File", the result of lengthy discussions at the Hellenic Parliament in cooperation with the House of Representatives on the Cyprus problem, are set to be handed over to Greece`s President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday.
The four volumes will be delivered by President of the House of Representatives Demetris Syllouris to President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades as well as the leaders of parliamentary parties.
