The home of an inspector at the casino in Limassol was the apparent target of shots fired late night on Tuesday, causing damages but no injuries.
According to police, a Greek national said strangers around 11:40pm fired shots from inside a vehicle and then drove away.
The home owner works at the Limassol casino as an inspector, according to media reports, which said he recently received threats for addressing some issues in the past.
An aluminum door and parts of an inner wall were reportedly damaged from the shooting, while no injuries have been reported. The home owner was reportedly in the uptstairs area of the residence while his wife was not at home.
Cops cordoned off the scene of the shooting while the police station at Episkopi is investigating the incident.
