Afternoon clouds and rain over local areas in the interior were also expected to include possible isolated thunderstorms, possibly with hail initially, while mostly clear weather is expected later in the evening.
But some reports said light rain might continue in the evening due to increasing clouds but only over local areas, while strong winds are expected during heavy storms.
Rain is expected to continue on Tuesday while skies will be mostly clear for the rest of the workweek.
Temperatures are expected to climb slightly on Wednesday and more so on Thursday inland and in the mountains.
