A weak low pressure system and a warm air mass are expected to break up by the end of the workweek, with more clouds popping up along with chances of rain before the weekend is out.
According to weather officials, Thursday afternoon skies will be mostly clear but with low cloud formations over local areas and chances of light fog overnight.
Temperature highs in Celsius will reach upper 30’s inland, low to mid 30’s along the coast, while levels will remain in the low 30’s high up in the mountains.
Evening skies will remain mostly clear with some low clouds expected in the mountains and parts of the interior. Minimums will register in the low 20’s except upper teens high up in the mountains.
Friday skies will be mostly clear with increasing clouds over the mountains and parts of the interior. Light fog, chances of fog, and low cloud formations are also expected before sunrise.
A slight drop in temperature is expected Saturday, along with afternoon increasing clouds inland and in the mountains, but levels will remain above normal averages for this time of the year.
Rain chances are expected Sunday and Monday, including local showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms.
