The Quantum Nicosia Marathon will take place on Sunday, 8 December 8 2024, with over 4,000 runners participating. To ensure the safety of participants and minimise inconvenience to the public, traffic arrangements have been approved by all relevant authorities.
The Organizing Committee of the Marathon, with the approval of all relevant authorities, announces that on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM, and on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the latest, the following roads in Nicosia will be closed to traffic due to the charity road races of the Quantum Nicosia Marathon.

• Mikis Theodorakis Street (formerly Museum Street): Closed from 4:00 PM on Saturday to 3:00 PM on Sunday.
Sunday, December 8, 2024

• Kinyra Street to the junction with Nehru Street

• Athalassas Avenue & Arch. Makariou III at Geri entry point
• Return from Geri towards Athalassa Park
• Athalassas Avenue & Nikandrou Papamina & K022 Kalamon (closed up to the Karaiskakio Foundation traffic lights)
• Karaiskakio Foundation – Athalassa Park entrance (parking will also be closed)
• Athalassas Park exit – Small parking area (parking will also be closed)
• Athalassas Avenue (E101) to the highway
*Return of runners along the above roads towards the finish line (the same roads and traffic directions will remain closed).
