A new fast-food chain has entered the Cypriot market bringing over 70 years of experience in making the juiciest souvlaki all the way from Greece.
The famous fast food chain Savvikos, hailing from Salonika, opened its doors for the first time in Cyprus on Sunday, at a brand new location in Engomi, west Nicosia.
Savvikos began its journey back in 1947, when grandpa Savvikos threw a couple of skewers on the grill on a food cart he was pushing on Salonika streets. Decades later, customers continue to appreciate the concept and enjoy traditional cuisine in the fast food tradition.
Some of the items on the menu include gyrlou in pita bread, grilled souvlaki and gyros, while customers are known to appreciate the famous homemade Savvikos dressings.
Savvikos, located in Engomi in west Nicosia, serves lunch and dinner while it also presents itself as a kid-friendly establishment.
