The UK Showcases Immersive Technologies and Educational Excellence at Youth Tech Festival 2026

Press Release

British High Commission Nicosia and British Council Cyprus are joining the 4th Youth Tech Festival on 7 February 2026 in Limassol, presenting a dynamic UK Pavilion that highlights the UK’s global leadership in technology, creativity and world class education. Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Sport & Youth, the Festival attracts thousands of students, parents, educators and industry stakeholders from Cyprus and abroad.

The UK Pavilion will showcase how Britain applies innovation, responsible AI and high quality education to inspire future talent. The British Council’s Education UK Exhibition will be hosted inside the Pavilion, featuring more than 40 UK universities. It is a unique opportunity for every interested individual to meet with university representatives and receive up to date information about the available programs, admission requirements, tuition fees and scholarships, cost of living, and more. Together, these elements will create a unique space where academic excellence meets cutting edge technology. Through hands on experiences and direct engagement with UK university representatives, visitors will gain practical insights into studying in the UK, emerging technology trends and the skills needed for tomorrow’s digital economy.

Throughout the day, representatives from UK institutions and Cypriot industry will lead discussions on digital skills, careers and the real world value of UK qualifications. By bringing education, innovation and digital creativity together under one roof, the UK Pavilion aims to encourage young people to explore new opportunities in science, space, technology and creative industries.

The UK Pavilion reflects the UK’s commitment to supporting the next generation of innovators and strengthening UK–Cyprus cooperation in education, technology and digital skills. By engaging young people through immersive learning, responsible AI and world leading academic opportunities, the Pavilion underscores the UK’s role as a trusted partner in shaping a forward looking, digitally resilient future for Cyprus.
