Police have arrested two people in connection with separate burglary and theft cases in Paphos and Limassol, authorities said Thursday.

The investigations are being handled by the Kouklia Police Station and Limassol’s Criminal Investigation Department.

In the Paphos case, a 30-year-old woman was arrested around 10 p.m. Wednesday on a court warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into a residential break-in and the theft of three vehicles.

Police said the burglary occurred sometime between Aug. 5 and Aug. 20, 2024. According to a complaint filed on Aug. 20, suspects broke into a home in the Paphos district, stealing keys and three vehicles that had been parked in the yard.

One of the vehicles was recovered Aug. 29 in the Ypsonas area, and a second was found Oct. 25 in Kato Polemidia. The third vehicle remains missing.

A 35-year-old man was previously arrested in connection with the case on July 2. Police said scientific evidence links both suspects to the thefts.
