Authorities in the occupied part of Cyprus have "arrested" two Turkish Cypriots, a father and son, in connection with the investigation involving five Greek Cypriots detained earlier in the Trikomo area.

According to reports from the Turkish Cypriot news agency TAK, the two men, who operate a real estate business, appeared before a court in Trikomo. The court ordered their detention for 24 hours on charges related to the alleged violation of personal data protection laws.

Pseudo-police stated that documents found in the vehicle of the five Greek Cypriots contained stamps from the Turkish Cypriot company managed by the detained men, as well as one of their signatures. These documents reportedly include property titles belonging to residents of the area administered by the Turkish Cypriot authorities.

Authorities are also reviewing additional materials seized from the men’s residence and offices, including documents, computers, phones, and other electronic devices.
