UEFA announced harsh measures against Russian teams yesterday which will apply to clubs and national teams.

The executive committee of the European Football Association has decided to permanently exclude them from all competitions in all categories.

Specifically:

All Russian clubs are excluded from the European competitions for the 2022-23 season, both for men and women.

Russia will receive 4,333 points in the five-year ranking of UEFA countries, which is its lowest in the last five years.

The Men's National Team will not participate in the Nations League, it is zeroed in all the games of the group and is relegated to the third category.

Portugal takes the place of the Russian Women's National at Euro 2022.

Russia is out of contention for Euro 2028 and the 2032 tournament.

Russian teams are also excluded from UEFA-sponsored indoor soccer events.

We remind you that Russia has also been excluded from the FIFA competitions. Moreover, Russian clubs and athletes from this country and Belarus will be excluded from big events in all sports.
