Underwater seismic activity shakes Cyprus, reports say it was felt in Paphos and Limassol

An offshore earthquake shook Cyprus on Wednesday morning, with reports saying it was felt in areas in Paphos and Limassol districts.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, there was seismic activity just off the island on Wednesday morning at 8:27am.
The earthquake took place 59 kilometers southwest of Limassol and 27 kilometers south of Pahos, EMSC said, while listing the depth at 2km.
According to local media, the earthquake was possibly felt in areas within the districts of Limassol and Paphos.
