Wizz Air, Europe’s most environmentally sustainable and most ambitious airline¹, has announced its early return to Tel Aviv, jetting back into Israel more than a month earlier than planned - now launching flights from 8 August 2025, instead of 15 September!

As air travel opens up in the region, Wizz Air isn’t just watching - it’s bringing back its iconic pink jets to Israeli skies as soon as it can. Tickets are already on sale at wizzair.com and via the WIZZ app, with prices starting from just 39.99EUR/169 ILS - but you'd better act fast, because demand is set to be high!

With routes linking Tel Aviv to Budapest, Larnaca, Milan, Rome, London, Vienna, Bucharest, Iasi, Sofia and Abu Dhabi, Wizz Air is putting Israel back on the map for hundreds of thousands of eager travellers.

“We’re back - and we’re back with purpose,” declared Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air. “Our early return to Tel Aviv demonstrates our commitment to our loyal Israeli passengers and to keeping the world connected.” – said Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air.

Wizz Air isn’t just returning - it’s dominating and will become the biggest European foreign airline again in Israel as far as capacity is considered. Out of the 24 routes to 11 countries offered by the airline to Tel Aviv, 10 routes to 8 countries will commence operations earlier than planned, while the rest of the Tel Aviv bound routes will return on 15 September. This announcement means that WIZZ is putting 31 thousand Tel Aviv bound seats on sale.

With the resumed Tel Aviv flights, Wizz Air further strengthens its presence in the region and maintains its stable leading position in Europe and beyond. The airline currently operates more than 830 routes across almost 190 destinations in 51 countries and will carry 75 million passengers across its extensive network in 2025, confirming its mission to make air travel accessible and affordable for all.

Get ready — Wizz Air is landing early, and it’s bringing the future of travel with it!
