A quiet morning in Amathus turned tragic when passers-by found a woman unconscious on a pedestrian street Wednesday. They called for help immediately, but emergency crews arriving on the scene confirmed that she had died.
Police quickly cordoned off the area and are now investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. So far, authorities have not released further details.
