A 60-year-old man is in critical condition following a workplace accident Tuesday morning at a construction site in Limassol.
Police said they received a report around 10:15 a.m. about an incident involving a plumber who was working at the site. According to initial findings, the man was standing on an object about one meter high while transporting pipes when he lost his balance and fell, striking his head on the ground.
He was taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a traumatic brain injury and cerebral hemorrhaging. Medical staff described his condition as critical.
The Agios Ioannis Police Station is investigating the incident.
