A 21-year-old man was killed early Monday in a motorcycle crash in Kissonerga, police said.
The victim, identified as Panayiotis Siik of Kissonerga, was riding a four-wheeled motorcycle on Georgiou Michail Street shortly after midnight when he lost control, authorities said.
The vehicle veered off the road, struck dense shrubbery and then crashed into a parked car, according to police.
Siik was taken by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where he died despite efforts by doctors to save him.
The Paphos Traffic Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
