The beaches of Ayia Napa and Protaras can hold their own against the ones in tropical islands. With clear turquoise waters, these beaches are ranked amongst the best and not just in Cyprus.
They are the ideal destination, especially for Nicosia and Larnaca residents, and a nice beach bar with good music makes them the perfect choice for a fun summer day.
In this series, Wiz recommends five beaches with their own bars, perfect for you to enjoy a whole day of sun without having to go anywhere else.
We started this series with Kalifi Beach Bar at Malama beach and Isola Beach Bar at Nissi Beach Resort, and then we moved on to Fig Tree – Salty Fig.
Here we continue with Cliff at Konnos beach.
Konnos Beach is made up of two small sandy beaches, divided by a small cape of rocks. To get there, you have to walk through some pine trees. It’s one of the most graphic beaches on the island, sheltered from winds, almost without any waves and covered in thin golden sand.
Here there’s a specially designed bar, Cliff, with music and a good atmosphere, that caters to different visitor requirements.
The bar is on a lounge terrace, with a white and blue colour scheme, comfortable bamboo chairs, and exceptional cocktails. There’s also a select wine list, great finger food and appetizing bites, and of course nice music.
