Authorities have issued a public alert for 24-year-old Ihab Al Mistu from Syria, who is wanted in connection with ongoing investigations into human smuggling and related crimes.
Al Mistu is being sought to assist in inquiries regarding alleged offenses including conspiracy to commit a felony, facilitating illegal entry, transit, and stay of third-country nationals in Cyprus, money laundering, and human smuggling. The alleged activities are reported to have occurred in September 2025 in the districts of Nicosia and Limassol.
The Cyprus Police have released his details to the public and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Morphou Criminal Investigation Department at 25-802552, the Citizen’s Line at 1460, or the nearest police station.
Authorities stress the importance of public cooperation in ensuring that justice is served and the investigation proceeds efficiently.
