Authorities say repatriations remain a priority as figures surpass last year’s total for the same period.

Authorities repatriated 332 third-country nationals who were living illegally in Cyprus between July 7 and 13, police said Monday.

The repatriations were carried out as part of an ongoing effort by Cypriot police, in coordination with other relevant authorities, to return individuals residing unlawfully in the country to their countries of origin.

So far this year, 6,737 individuals have been repatriated through both voluntary and forced return procedures, compared with 5,558 during the same period in 2024, according to police data.

Officials say the repatriation initiative remains a priority for law enforcement and immigration authorities.
