Authorities seized about 35 kilos of cannabis at Larnaca airport yesterday, following a coordinated effort between the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) and customs officials. Two suspects, aged 19 and 25, were detained in connection with the find and are now facing drug-related charges. The drugs were discovered during a routine inspection of incoming luggage, though further details on how they were concealed have not been disclosed. Investigators are working to determine whether the suspects are part of a larger drug trafficking network.
