45-year-old woman arrested for fraud involving vehicles, tickets, and products

Posing as a service provider, she swindled her victims out of €20,000.

A 45-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday by police to assist in investigations into three cases of fraud, in which she is accused of stealing approximately €20,000 through deceitful means.

According to a police statement, the incidents occurred in the Nicosia district between July 2024 and February 2025.

The Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) reported that the woman allegedly received money from individuals, claiming to offer various services or acting as an intermediary for the purchase of vehicles, products, and travel tickets. Through this scheme, she is said to have defrauded a total of approximately €20,000.

The Nicosia CID continues its investigation into the matter.
