On Friday afternoon, the Parliament's Plenary approved the regulations for the establishment and operation of the Independent Anti-Corruption Authority.
The regulations were supported by 38 MPs
In addition, the Plenary voted on an amendment proposed by Charalambos Theopeptou, President of the Environmental Movement - Citizens' Cooperation, which states that every complaint and/or information submitted by name to the Independent Anti-Corruption Authority will bear a serial number, which will be communicated to the person who submitted it, in order to ensure the transparency and traceability of the cases examined by the Independent Anti-Corruption Authority. The amendment was approved by 38 MPs.
