Bank deposits increase by €357.1 million in February

Total loans in February 2023 also recorded a net increase of €81.2 million

Total deposits in February 2023 recorded a net increase of €357.1 million, compared with a net decrease of €583,8 million in January 2023.

According to data released on Monday by the Central Bank of Cyprus, the annual growth rate stood at 0.3%, compared with -0.1% in January 2023. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €51.9 billion in February 2023.

Compared to February 2022, deposits increased by €413 million.

Total loans in February 2023 recorded a net increase of €81.2 million, compared with a net decrease of €93.2 million in January 2023.

The annual growth rate stood at -0.7%, compared with -0.9% in January 2023. The outstanding amount of total loans reached €25.1 billion in February 2023.
