On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, The Royal Hall in Nicosia will host the prestigious Bank of Cyprus Man of the Year Awards—an evening dedicated to honoring exceptional individuals who lead by example.

Since its inception in 2001, the Bank of Cyprus Man of the Year Awards has been the longest-running and most respected awards institution in Cyprus. Each year, it recognizes men whose vision, perseverance, and ethical values set them apart—whether in science, the arts, sports, or business. These individuals serve as role models, demonstrating excellence and dedication in their respective fields.
Far from superficial accolades, this institution values substance over spectacle, celebrating those whose contributions leave a lasting impact on society. The awards emphasize ethics, integrity, and meaningful achievements.
How the Winners Are Chosen
Each year, the editorial team of MAN magazine carefully selects the nominees. The winners are then determined through a balanced voting process:
- 50% of the votes come from subscribers of Kathimerini Cyprus.
- 50% of the votes come from influential figures in Cypriot society.
