Biker dies in Paphos motorcycle accident

Man loses control of his motorcycle, fatally injured after going off the road in Yeroskipou

A 24-year-old biker was fatally injured in a road accident on Friday in Yeroskipou, after he lost control of his motorcycle just days following similar accidents elsewhere on the island.

According to police, the man was riding his motorcycle on Ayion Pente street in Yeroskipou, Paphos district, on Friday morning. At one point, around 8:30am, it appears that he lost control of his motorcycle, flipped over, and went off the road.

The 24-year-old was rushed to the Emergency Room at Paphos General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Paphos traffic police are investigating the causes of the accident.
