Police say 19-year-old lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a parked vehicle

A 19-year-old male is in intensive care in Nicosia following a serious motorcycle accident in Limassol in the early hours Thursday morning, just days after a fatal accident where another biker also in his late teens was killed instantly.

The 19-year-old was critically injured after losing control of his motorcycle, flipping over and crashing into a parked vehicle

According to police, the man was riding his motorcycle on Theopatoron Street in Limassol when he lost control of his bike around 1:20am.

As a result of losing control, the motorcycle flipped over and crashed into a parked vehicle, critically injuring the 19-year-old.

Reports said the injuries were very serious that prompted first responders to rush him to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit.

The accident comes days after an 18-year-old man was killed in a Limassol traffic accident, when the motorcycle he was riding collided with another car on the main coastal road. He was then forcefully ejected from his seat crashed into a car that was parked on the left side of the road.
