Happy Friday! Time to soak in the good vibes, because the sky is basically rolling out the blue carpet for us today.
We’ve got a friendly little low pressure system and a toasty air mass hanging around, which means: clear skies, sunshine, and a gentle breeze doing its best impression of a lazy fan. This morning, winds are just figuring out their life choices, starting all over the place before settling into a southwesterly-to-northwesterly mood, light to moderate at 3–4 Beaufort. The sea? A little frisky, but nothing a confident paddleboarder couldn’t handle.
Temperatures today:
- 39°C inland (otherwise known as “find me a pool, fast”)
- 32°C on the west coast
- 35°C on the rest of the coasts
- 31°C up in the mountains
Tonight: Still mostly clear; perfect for stargazing or a late-night ice cream run. Winds will chill out from the northwest to northeast, light at 3 Beaufort, and slightly perkier on the west coast. The sea will calm down to “mostly well-behaved.” Temperatures will drop to:
- 22°C inland
- 24°C on the west coast
- 25°C on the rest of the coasts
- 21°C in the mountains
Weekend & Monday:
The sunshine train keeps rolling with clear skies and plenty of warmth. Temperatures will climb noticeably through Sunday before holding steady on Monday, staying well above the seasonal average. Translation: sunscreen is not optional.
