EU Chief Negotiator Michel Barnier will discuss on Monday the developments on Brexit with the Cypriot government and parliament.
Barnier will pay a visit to Nicosia on May 20 during which he will be received by Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and will hold discussions with Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides and the parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
According to the programme of his visit, Barnier will hold a meeting on Monday morning with the members of the House Foreign and European Affairs Committee. Later on he will be received by President Anastasiades. Following his meeting with the President, Barnier will hold talks with Foreign Minister Christodoulides. Christodoulides and Barnier are expected to make statements to the media.
