The Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit 2026 is proud to announce one of this year’s most distinguished speakers: C. L. Max Nikias, an internationally renowned academic and author, President Emeritus and Life Trustee of the University of Southern California, one of the leading universities in the United States.
Dr. Nikias is one of the most influential figures in technology, innovation, and higher education. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Inventors. He is also an associate member of the Academy of Athens and a Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, one of the world’s leading professional organizations for electrical engineering and technology.
Through his long career in research, technological development, and university leadership, Dr. Nikias has played an important role in shaping the modern academic and technological landscape in the United States.
His participation adds further international weight to the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit and offers a valuable opportunity for meaningful discussion on technological progress, innovation, and the role universities must play in the new age of artificial intelligence.
This year’s Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit returns under the theme “AI Wars—Challenging the Balance of Power: Life, Work, Country, Region.”
The conference will explore the forces shaping today’s geopolitical and technological landscape.
