At the start of today's session, the Council of Ministers observed a one-minute silence in memory of the victims of the deadly earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

The release of the €0.5 million in aid for the earthquake victims in both countries will be done in accordance with the Council of Ministers' procedures, according to President Nicos Anastasiades.
