A seasonal low pressure system is affecting the area, with mostly clear weather patterns being swapped with afternoon cloudy skies on Tuesday.
After noon, there is a chance of isolated showers that could develop into thunderstorms in some parts over the foothill and mountain areas, while winds will be light to moderate and seas calm to relatively calm.
Maximum high temperatures are expected to reach 38° Celsius inland, 31 on the western coast, around 33 in the rest of the coastal regions and 29 on the mountains.
Evening skies will be mostly clear with a chance of low clouds and fog developing over some parts in the early morning.
Minimum low temperatures will register 23° inland and in the coastal areas, while it be 18 degrees up on the mountains at the highest elevation.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are expected to remain mostly clear, with a slight increase in temperature by midweek.
