Cyprus extends flight ban again

Transport ministry in the Republic of Cyprus orders landing gear up until May 17

Cyprus’ Cabinet has decided to extend a flight ban, which has been in place as part of measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision which was taken during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting and was announced on Friday by the Transport Ministry.

An official press release said the flight ban which, has been in effect according to a decree issued on April 18, will be extended from Thursday April 20 until Sunday May 17, 2020.
