New online platform aims to bring Cypriot talent home, or at least keep them connected from abroad.

Cyprus is reaching out to its citizens abroad with the launch of an updated digital platform aimed at connecting Cypriots living and working overseas with job opportunities and resources back home.

President Nicos Christodoulides announced the launch of the revamped “Minds in Cyprus” platform this week, describing it as “a strategic initiative to build a stable, dynamic bridge with our compatriots abroad.” The platform, available at www.mindsincyprus.com, is now live.

Through the site, users can access the Ministry of Labor’s “Opportunities for Talent” portal to explore available positions in Cyprus, register for updates, and receive personalized notifications about jobs that fit their profiles. In addition, an information hub provides guidance for those considering repatriation.

“The return and reintegration of Cypriot talent is a key part of our broader vision for the country’s development and future,” Christodoulides said. “Cyprus is changing, and we need all of you. Whether you return home or contribute from abroad, your involvement matters greatly to us and to our country.”

Christodoulides invited the diaspora to take an active role in shaping Cyprus’ future, calling on citizens to “come back and help us change the country together.”

The initiative reflects a growing effort by the government to tap into the skills and expertise of the global Cypriot community, making it easier for professionals abroad to stay connected and explore opportunities back home.
