Energy, Commerce and Industry Minister George Papanastasiou is set to announce the launch of the e-Kalathi digital platform during a press conference Wednesday.
Speaking Tuesday at the Investopia Global Mediterranean Forum in Limassol, Papanastasiou said the ministry is ready to present the platform to stakeholders. The official unveiling to the media is expected to follow a Cabinet meeting scheduled for Wednesday morning.
“We are preparing the public to embrace e-Kalathi, the digital platform we have developed at the ministry, so that people can use this tool to make smarter purchases,” he said.
The platform's launch will be followed by a three-day public information campaign aimed at raising awareness and encouraging use of the service.
