A bomb exploded outside a café on Piraeus Street early Wednesday, police said.
The blast occurred at approximately 2:40 a.m. and was caused by a high-powered improvised explosive device, according to authorities.
No injuries have been reported. Police officers quickly secured the area following the explosion. Investigators were on the scene Wednesday morning and are expected to continue examining the site throughout the day.
Authorities have not released any information regarding potential suspects or motives. The café sustained damage from the blast, though the extent has not been detailed.
