If you’ve been waiting for the perfect excuse to hit the beach, this is it! A warm air mass is giving Cyprus an early taste of summer, with temperatures soaring well above seasonal norms.
Today, expect clear skies and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will climb to 29°C inland, 27°C along most coasts, 24°C in the north, and 20°C in the mountains—ideal for soaking up the sun. Light to moderate northeast to southeast winds (3-4 Beaufort) will keep things breezy, and the sea will be slightly rough, but nothing too dramatic.
Tonight, skies stay clear, with temperatures cooling to 12°C inland, 15°C by the sea, and 10°C in the mountains. Winds will ease to a gentle 3 Beaufort, and the sea will calm down too.
Weekend Outlook? Beach, Beach, and More Beach!
Saturday through Monday will be mostly sunny, with only a few high clouds drifting in from Sunday afternoon. By then, temperatures will peak at a scorching 33°C or more, making it the perfect weekend for what some might call their first swim of the season. But let’s be real—this is Cyprus. The truly brave (or slightly crazy) have been swimming all winter! For everyone else, now’s your chance to finally dive in.
Pack your sunscreen, grab your towel, and embrace the heat—summer’s making an early entrance!
