An 85-year-old man died Friday after reportedly falling from his tractor while working in his field in the village of Sia, in the Nicosia District, authorities said.
The victim, identified as Kyriakos Charalambous of Kaimakli, was found dead at approximately 12:30 p.m., according to police.
Preliminary investigations indicate Charalambous had been performing agricultural work when, under circumstances still under investigation, he fell from the tractor and sustained fatal injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
