An 85-year-old man was hospitalized after a snake bite incident in Larnaca earlier this week.
The incident occurred on Monday, April 20, while the man was working in a field. During his work, he was bitten by a viper, a venomous snake species found in the area.
Emergency services transported him to the hospital without delay. Doctors are currently monitoring his condition, which is reported to be stable as he continues to receive treatment.
Snake bites, while not extremely common, can occur in rural and agricultural settings, especially during warmer months when snakes are more active. Authorities generally advise caution when working outdoors in such environments.
