Firefighters were called to a series of roadside fires on Saturday along the route between Droushia and Prodromi in the Paphos district, with the Department of Forests maintaining an increased presence across the area.
The department said its crews responded quickly to five separate fires and brought each one under control before the flames could spread.
A further fire later broke out near Arodes. Officials said the blaze has been contained and no longer poses an immediate risk of expanding.
Patrols remain active throughout the region as forestry personnel continue to monitor conditions closely. The Department of Forests is expected to provide further updates as the situation develops.
