Visitors to the beaches of the Paralimni-Deryneia municipality can now access free high-speed wireless internet, the municipality announced this week.
The service, provided in partnership with Cosmos Wireless, is available at all municipal beaches. Officials say the initiative aims to enhance the visitor experience, alongside the area’s calm waters and upgraded beach facilities.
The municipality also noted that it leads the country in the number of Blue Flag designations, with 18 of Cyprus’ 66 total awards. The recognition was announced during a June 4 ceremony at Fig Tree Bay in Protaras.
Municipal officials said efforts to improve both the appearance of local beaches and the quality of services offered to beachgoers remain ongoing.
