Greece to send C-130 aircraft for evacuation of Cypriots from Lebanon

Cyprus calls on Greece for Lebanon evacuation assistance

Greece will provide a military transport aircraft to transport Cypriot citizens out of Lebanon, Greek Defence Minister Nikos Dendias said on Tuesday.

In a post on platform X, Dendias said that following a request by Cypriot Defence Minister Vassilis Palmas during a telephone conversation "the Greek Airforce will provide a military transport aircraft C-130 to evacuate Cypriot citizens from Lebanon."
