Police are investigating after bullet damage was discovered Monday at the Department of Road Transport’s technical inspection hangar in Paphos.

Authorities said an officer reported the damage to six small windows on the hangar’s sliding doors around 8 a.m. Members of the Paphos Criminal Investigation Department and the Criminal Investigation Service examined the scene and collected evidence.

Initial findings indicate the damage was caused by bullets from a firearm. Forensic analysis of the collected evidence is ongoing as investigators work to determine the circumstances of the incident.
