Following a tip-off, police officers searched a building in Limassol used as a warehouse, where they discovered a large cache of firearms, grenades, a grenade launcher, and a number of cartridges and detonators, all of which appear to be full of rust and completely inoperable.

Officers discovered approximately 50 firearms and a revolver pistol, as well as Browning and Bren machine guns and Sten submachine guns, 25 offensive grenades, a bazooka launcher, 200 common detonators, a variety of military cartridges of various calibers, and a wide range of magazines.

Police officers took the stash of weapons for scientific analysis.
