Drivers in Limassol are likely to encounter increased traffic on Friday morning as the swearing-in ceremony for new military recruits takes place at Lanitio Stadium.
The ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on 24 July, with congestion expected between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. around the stadium.
Police have warned that delays are likely on:
- Agias Fylaxeos Road, from the Agias Fylaxeos roundabout to Makarios III Avenue.
- Makarios III Avenue in Mesa Geitonia.
- Kostis Palamas Street.
- Kritis Street.
Motorists are advised to:
- Follow instructions from police officers directing traffic.
- Allow extra time for their journeys.
- Use alternative routes where possible to avoid delays.
