House President holds meeting with outgoing Ambassador of Japan

Demetris Syllouris: Shinichi Nakatsugawa was the first Japanese Ambassador to serve in Cyprus

Cyprus House President Demetris Syllouris met on Tuesday with the outgoing Ambassador of Japan in Cyprus, Shinichi Nakatsugawa.

A press release issued by the House says that Syllouris pointed out that Nakatsugawa was the first Japanese Ambassador to serve in Cyprus and this contributed to the enhancement of the bilateral relations.

During the meeting they both expressed their hope for further enhancement of the ties between Japan-Cyprus in sectors such as education, innovation and research.

Nakatsugawa thanked Syllouris for their cooperation and praised the Parliament for its excellent job.
