In July 2024, the Industrial Turnover Index reached 152.7 units (base 2021=100), recording an increase of 6.,3% compared to July 2023, according to data published by the Statistical Service on Friday.
In manufacturing, the Industrial Turnover Index for July 2024 reached 142.8 units, recording an increase of 8.4% compared to July 2023.
Increases were also recorded in the sectors of mining and quarrying (+25.8%) and water supply and materials recovery (+11.1%).
A decrease was noted in the sector of electricity supply (-2.4%).
For the period January – July 2024, the index recorded an increase of 2.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
