Authorities are warning motorists to use extra caution as severe weather continues to affect parts of the road network.
Heavy rainfall has triggered soil and rock landslides, making the Kalopanagiotis-Gerakies-Kykkos-Kambos-Orkonta route hazardous to travel. Police say the road conditions pose a serious risk and are urging drivers to slow down, remain alert, and keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
In addition, intense hailstorms have reduced visibility along sections of the Limassol-Paphos highway. Drivers in the area are advised to reduce speed, increase following distances, and keep their headlights on at all times.
Police continue to monitor the situation and are reminding the public that weather-related road conditions can change quickly.
