See the video going viral on Twitter

A video of an alleged pro-Putin Russian demonstration in Limassol has reportedly gone viral.

A video posted on Twitter by Visegrad24 showed a convoy of a few cars driving down 28th October St., the main seaside road in Limassol, while flying Russian flags and honking their horns to show support for Putin and the war in Ukraine.

According to the video, things got a big ugly when Limassol residents opposed to the war started throwing objects from windows and balconies at the cars in the motorcade, hitting one of them in the process.

Limassol is home to many Russians and is sometimes known as the Moscow of Cyprus.  The video posted on Twitter generated numerous back and forth comments, some in favor while others opposed.
