Officers confiscated two computers, two mobile phones, an external hard drive, an android TV box, and six additional electronic storage devices.

But police later released the suspect after failing to locate incriminating evidence during a preliminary investigation.

A month later, new allegations emerged against the suspect and a new warrant was issued for the man who was not on the island at the time.

Police said the suspect was spotted on 24 September 2019 in a foreign country and Cypriot officers flew there to escort him back to the Republic of Cyprus.
