Father in the north accused of raping teenage daugther from 2016 to 2018

A father in the northern part of Cyprus has been remanded in custody following allegations that he raped his teenage daughter on multiple occasions.
According to Turkish Cypriot reports, social services officials determined that rape allegations were true, according to which the father had been raping his 15-year-old daughter between February 2016 and October 2018.
A court case has been opened and a judge ordered a two day remand for the man, who reportedly has admitted to the crime, while a medical examiner confirmed that the girl had signs consistent with rape on her body.
